Prior to COVID 19 SAMFA arranged two meetings per year for each region. The first was mid year and the most important meeting on our calendar being the AGM.  Then there was a final meeting for the year, usually planned to take place in November. These year end meetings were generally a bit less formal and more of a social nature.

Due to the pandemic with its compulsory lock downs and restrictions on movement, your committee took the decision to postpone the traditional AGM and then to convert AGM business to an online model as soon as companies were able to regain some semblance of normality. Normal meetings may resume when the threat posed by the pandemic has subsided to a minimal risk.
