This one day safety training course has also been developed as part of the DANIDA funded OHS project being managed by SAMFA. It was crafted in response to specific requests from members who needed to fulfill requirements of ISO accreditation. One of these requirements is to ensure that all personnel starting with those at the lower end of the skills ladder are effectively made aware of the hazards and risks that they face in their daily work routine. Ensuring that employees have an understanding of the correct procedures when working with various types of machinery, hazardous substances and the correct use of safety equipment is of paramount importance to all employers today.

The course was very successfully trialled in all 3 regions during November of 2007, and will be presented in any region where there is interest from employers and sufficient numbers of trainees to make it viable. Click here to put your name on an "interested parties" list.

SAMFA Members - R635 VAT inclusive
Non Members       - R793 VAT inclusive
A deposit of R200 VAT inclusive  should be submitted in respect of each trainee enrolled. The balance is payable on or before registration at the venue on the day. The price includes a training booklet, lunch & tea.
