This one day safety training seminar has been crafted in response to specific requests from members who needed to fulfill requirements of ISO accreditation. One of these requirements is to ensure that all personnel starting with those at the lower end of the skills ladder are effectively made aware of the hazards and risks that they face in their daily work routine. Ensuring that employees have an understanding of the correct procedures when working with various types of machinery, hazardous substances and the correct use of safety equipment is of paramount importance to all employers today.

Custom sessions may also be arranged for businesses that have a large enough staff complement.
Various guest speakers address the trainees, including an OHS expert as well as a specialist in the correct use of personal protective apparel.
An attractive certificate of attendance will be mailed to trainees that participate in this exercise.
This one-day seminar was last presented on Thursday May 5 in the Cape Region and on October 26 in the KZN Region. Attendees included line workers, supervisors, production managers, a chemical lab manager as well as a health and safety professional.
Past experience has shown that staff members ranging from tank hands through to supervisory and management staff have found this training to be very useful.
